AccorHotels has added a new member to its MGallery collection in Thailand.

The Veranda Resort Pattaya, MGallery by Sofitel has now opened on Na Jomtien Beach, a short distance from the popular seaside resort of Pattaya.

The hotel features 145 rooms and suites, including family pool suite and pool villas, while the three F&B outlets include a rooftop seaview restaurant and bar. Other facilities include a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, kids’ club and two meeting rooms.

“Pattaya is a strategic destination and we have seen significant growth in the city’s tourism industry over the past few years,” said Patrick Basset, AccorHotels’ chief operating officer for Upper Southeast & Northeast Asia. “Veranda Resort offers visitors to Pattaya an additional boutique choice.

“This addition to the brand, which follows the recent opening of Hotel Baraquda Pattaya MGallery by Sofitel, reflects guests’ desire for more added choices in Pattaya and reinforces our strong network presence in this popular destination,” he added.

AccorHotels now operates six hotels in Pattaya, under its MGallery, ibis, Pullman and Mercure brands. And the Veranda Resort Pattaya becomes the eighth MGallery hotel in Thailand, following other properties in Bangkok, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai and Pattaya.
