Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is opening a new Thai restaurant.
Set to launch on 18 December 2013, the Koh Thai Kitchen & Bar is set on the top of a palm-covered hill, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand.
Designed by Bill Bensley, the new outlet features high ceilings and has been created using local Thai materials, making the most of its natural setting. The bar area includes wine walls and oversized sofas.
The restaurant menus will showcase southern Thai cuisine with a strong focus on seafood and other locally-sourced produce.
“We’re taking a step back to the roots of Thai cuisine to offer dishes that aren’t what you’d normally find at your local Thai restaurant, but that feature genuine, clean flavours that come from top quality local products. Many of our recipes have their origins in southern Thailand, and we’re excited to bring the genuine flavours of the islands to our guests through the cuisine at Koh,” said executive chef Alex Garés.
Koh Thai Kitchen and Bar will open daily for lunch and dinner, and becomes the Four Seasons Samui’s fourth F&B outlet.
