The tourist board of New Zealand, Tourism New Zealand, has partnered with Thai Airways on a new initiative aimed at luring Thai families to the country.
The campaign, called Discover 100% Pure New Zealand Colours, will run from now until 30 November and offer roundtrip fares from US$919 for economy and US$2,726 for business class.
“We are excited to work with Tourism New Zealand in promoting the country as a top destination to the Thai market,” said Viset Sontichai, manager, area sales department at Thai Airways International. “Its spectacular landscapes and amazing sceneries provide the perfect backdrop to a road trip holiday.”
Mischa Mannix-Opie, regional manager for South and Southeast Asia said: “We invite Thai travellers to come and experience Spring in Auckland and the surrounding regions. From breath taking vistas, relaxing activities to thrilling adventures, there is definitely something for everyone.”
Last week we reported that New Zealand will produce its long term tourism strategy in October.
