Tourism New Zealand has revamped its online training programme for the trade.
The new 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Programme includes information on the destination including product updates with a new name to match its marketing campaign.
“The programme has been run in different forms for a number of years and has evolved significantly over that time,” says Danielle Genty-Nott, regional manager UK & Europe at Tourism NZ.
“With this revision we have developed new interactive online training modules to make them more dynamic, visually engaging and easier to use,” she added.
To become a specialist, agents must complete 10 of the new training modules and attend a training session, with the status lasting two years.
