Viacom is launching a Nickelodeon-themed hotel brand in an effort to attract families.
Miami developer Karisma Hotels & Resorts has taken on the licence for a collection of properties called Nickelodeon Hotels.
The hotels will feature popular Nickelodeon characters, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Scheduled to open in 2016, the first hotel for the brand will be Nickelodeon Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, with a Mexico hotel scheduled shortly after.
