Norwegian Cruise Line, the industry’s third biggest operator, has announced that it will be adding Zumba classes to its fitness programmes from spring 2013.
The dance classes, which introduce hip-hop, salsa, African beats and Reggaton, will be available on each cruise and taught by specially licensed Zumba instructors.
“We are excited to bring Zumba Fitness onboard our ships and offer guests not just a new way to work out, but an exhilarating and easy-to-follow dance fitness-party,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line CEO.
Zumba classes are currently held in over 140,000 locations across 150 countries.
