Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has celebrated the opening of its first office the Pacific region.
The new sales and marketing centre is located in Sydney, and forms part of the company’s strategy to expand in this Asia Pacific region. In August NCL announced plans to embark on a series of new Asia Pacific cruises, including voyages to Australia and New Zealand.
They Sydney office will be headed up by Steve Odell, the company’s senior vice president and managing director for Australia & New Zealand.
“Today marks an exciting day in the history of our company, as we further expand our global team to serve the greater Australasia region,” said Odell. “With this new office, we can now better support our travel partners as they serve their guests across the spectrum from contemporary to luxury cruising, offering sales and marketing support and a dedicated Sydney based call centre for our three brands.”
Odell will be now be tasked with developing all three of NCL’s cruise brands in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
