AccorHotels has launched its Novotel brand in Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state in India.
The new Novotel Lucknow Gomti Nagar is located in the centre of the state capital, Lucknow. It features 106 rooms, including two suites, plus a lobby with an interactive touch-screen table providing a range of information about the hotel and local area.
The property also is also home to four F&B outlets including a rooftop restaurant that overlooks the pool, a spa, fitness centre and an area for kids.
For the MICE market, Novotel Lucknow Gomti Nagar also features two meeting rooms.
“Lucknow is an established tourist destination,” said Raj Singh, the hotel’s general manager. “With Novotel Lucknow Gomti Nagar’s contemporary ‘home away from home’ stay experience, assortment of dining outlets and meeting spaces, we are set to define new paradigms in the hospitality industry to meet the city’s tourism growth.”
The Novotel is located opposite the Sahara Hospital and 30 minutes’ drive from the city airport. Uttar Pradesh is home to approximately 199 million people.
