Oceania Cruises has announced that it is to extend its loyalty programme to make it easier to receive rewards.
Part of the improvements include the line’s new ‘Blue Membership’ level meaning that even those who are on their first cruise with the company can start receiving benefits.
“As we approach our 10th anniversary in 2013, it seemed the ideal time to redesign our loyalty programme significantly enhancing the benefits at each milestone level and adding a new entry level so that guests can start earning rewards faster,” said Kunal S. Kamlani, the line’s president. “These changes, along with both meaningful shipboard credits and complimentary gratuities, make our loyalty programme truly the best in the industry.”
Available benefits include cocktail receptions, membership level pins and also higher rewards such as free cruises and spa treatments.
The new benefits programme will be launched with the first 2013 cruises and has also garnered widespread acclaim from Oceania’s travel partners.
“While the service, amenities and itineraries are enough to make any client choose to sail with Oceania Cruises several times over, the accumulated rewards that never expire make the decision that much more appealing,” said Denis Lim, President of Cruise Experts Travel.
