UK-based tour operator On the Go Tours has launched a selection of tours in Japan.
Following a surge in demand from travellers and Japan’s position as a ‘bucket list’ destination, On The Go Tours has extended its product offering to include the dynamic country.
The recent increase in flight services has also played an important role in their decision to progress into the region.
Carl Cross, managing director at On The Go Tours, said: “Japan has always been on our radar and it’s a popular destination because it truly has something for everyone: shopping, skiing, the great outdoors, a bustling and culture-rich society with amazing food and nightlife. We’ve also seen a surge in demand from our most loyal customers; individuals that have travelled with us on multiple occasions, who named Japan their ‘bucket list destination for 2016.’ This indicated that the demand was there and we wanted to make the most of it.
“In addition, with a lower Yen, better air access and a rise in European carrier flights from the UK to Asia, flights have never been cheaper.”
With the first tour scheduled for the 5 March, each tour is designed to showcase the country’s distinctive culture and one-of-a-kind landscapes. Offering flexible itineraries ranging from eight to 14 days across three collections: Japan Group Tours, Private Tours and Festival Tours. The travel company is also offering private tours in the region and all tours will operate with the support of carefully selected specialist, local guides.
Beginning as a two-man start-up in 1998, On The Go Tours has grown into a small global company, with a purposeful local ethos and an international team of travel professionals to ensure the highest level of service.
