Following on from the expansion of its Australasian and European network, London-based private rental company onefinestay has turned its attentions back home, by welcoming new Cotswolds properties into its UK portfolio.
The Cotswolds, in central England, has long been a leisure destination for Brits, drawn by the picturesque ‘chocolate box’ countryside setting. Indeed the area’s natural pulchritude, not to mention its horde of rural landscapes, stone-built villages, and stately homes, earned its designation as An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), as long ago as 1966.
With critically acclaimed eating establishments like The Kingham Plough and the Michelin-starred Le Champignon Sauvage, as well as nearby events such as the world-famous Cheltenham Festival and historical attractions like Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds has thriving social and entertainment scene to complement its striking setting.
From traditional grand English farmhouses and converted barns to modern glass-fronted houses and idyllic countryside cottages, onefinestay has curated 13 distinct and varied homes in the Cotswolds, featuring unique design and individual character.
This continued growth into more leisure destinations follows the announcement of launches in Greece, Australia and New Zealand earlier this summer and is part of onefinestay’s philosophy to provide the “finest homes and most desirable destinations” for its customer base.
One particular highlight of the new locations is The Yew Tree Farmhouse (main picture), an impressive Georgian set against a traditional countryside backdrop. Featuring seven bedrooms, games room and capacious garden it is ideal for large family or friend groups.
Also available from onefinestay’s portfolio of new additions is the Oldbury Barn. This old farm building has been converted in to an eco-friendly home which can boast enough room for 14 occupants and an Astroturf sports area and even its own private cinema for some those who appreciate the pleasure of big screen viewing in a cosy living room environment.
