2017 is shaping as another big year of expansion for Open Destinations and the company is ramping up its workforce to keep up with its growth.
Open Destinations is actively recruiting for a wide range of roles in their London head office in the consulting, business analysis and project teams.
“We have signed a number of new clients in Europe, North America and the Middle East,” said CEO Kevin O’Sullivan. “As our business grows we take on a greater number of complex projects. We look to recruit travel experts with diverse backgrounds in the tour operating and wholesale industries who can understand our clients’ needs first-hand.”
Open Destinations has seen tremendous success as an export business in recent years, with new clients that include luxury travel company Belmond, Australian rail operator Great Southern Rail, education-focused Road Scholar in the US and Destination Asia, a prominent DMC group in Southeast Asia. The company achieved an average of 43% growth in international sales over the past two years and has been ranked in Sunday Times SME Export Track 100 league table for two years running.
O’Sullivan says that the company is on target for continued growth at an average rate of 20% per year. “We will continue to be at the forefront of the travel technology sector and recruit ambitious people to join us.”
