Several UK tour operators have signed new agreements with Norwegian Air for charter operations this summer.

TUI, Thomas Cook and Nazar will all offer flights with the carrier in agreements worth more than NOK400 million (GBP34m) and covering almost 2,000 flights.

The charter operations will carry customers from London Gatwick to the likes of Spain, Greece, Italy, Cyprus and Portugal as well as leisure routes from Scandinavia.

”We’re very pleased that we are able to continue to fly charter passengers for TUI, Thomas Cook and Nazar to popular destinations in the Mediterranean. We are looking forward to welcoming even more passengers on board our comfortable and brand new aircraft with free in-flight WiFi,” said the airline’s chief commercial officer Thomas Ramdahl.
