Outrigger Resorts has moved to drive more bookings from the UK with the appointment of a new sales, marketing and PR representative in the country.
With immediate effect, Hills Balfour will manage Outrigger’s UK sales and marketing activities, aiming to boost coverage of the company’s Asia Pacific and Indian Ocean resorts.
Hills Balfour’s Andrea Hogg will act as Outrigger’s account director for the UK, supported by executive director Julian Mills and account manager Freya Boucher.
“The UK is a very important market for Outrigger, especially for our recently acquired properties in Phuket and Koh Samui, Thailand, the Maldives and Mauritius,” said Mark Simmons, Outrigger Resorts’ vice president of sales & marketing for Asia Pacific.
“With Hills Balfour’s extensive network of contacts and proven ability to leverage relationships, they will grow sales and marketing and show the UK trade that Outrigger Resorts is on a journey to become the premier beach front resort brand in the world.”
Outrigger currently has a portfolio of 40 properties with approximately 9,000 rooms either operating or under development in in Hawaii, Guam, Fiji, Thailand, Mauritius, Maldives, Vietnam and China.
