Pacific World expands in India with Le Passage tie-up

Pacific World, the global DMC and event management company, has announced a major expansion of its operations in India.
Effective immediately, the company has strengthened its relationship with Le Passage to India (LPTI) through the merger of its meeting and incentive businesses. This will see the ‘Mintcentive’ and ‘TUI- Meetings & Incentive’ brands merged to form one entity, named ‘Pacific World India’. The new entity will be headed by Naveen Rizvi, executive director of Pacific World India.
LPTI and Pacific World are both part of Hotelbeds Group’s ‘Destination Services’ division.
“India is one of the world’s largest business events market[s],” said Selina Chavry, global managing director at Pacific World. “Pacific World is now taking a leader’s position in those markets for the future five to 10 years. Pacific World and LPTI clients will benefit from a one-stop shop offering for their meetings, events, incentives, congresses whether domestic, outbound and inbound.”
Pacific World currently has eight offices in India, including locations in Delhi and Mumbai.
Mario Habig, managing director of LPTI, commented; “This is a unique opportunity for LPTI and Pacific World to take the number one position in the Indian meetings and events market, domestic, outbound, inbound.”
