Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the opening Pan Pacific Yangon in November, the first property in Myanmar under the brand.

The 25-storey Pan Pacific Yangon sits within Junction City, an integrated commercial and lifestyle development with an excellent variety of dining and recreational options located along Shwedagon Pagoda Road. Pan Pacific Yangon’s double-height sky lobby on the sixth floor will offer stunning views across to the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda while the exclusive Pacific Club on the uppermost floor of the hotel will boast spectacular city vistas.

“We’re excited about the opening of Pan Pacific Yangon, the first international luxury five-star hotel in the city. It will strongly appeal to business and leisure travellers alike as a modern and refreshing retreat, and set a benchmark for luxury and service excellence in the local hospitality scene.

“As one of the largest hotel companies in the city, we are committed to Myanmar as a strategic growth market as we expand our footprint in Asia Pacific. We look forward to contributing further to Myanmar’s flourishing tourism and travel industry, where we already operate the award-winning PARKROYAL Yangon and PARKROYAL Nay Pyi Taw,” said Lothar Nessmann, chief executive officer, Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
