The new Pan Pacific Ningbo officially opened its doors today (Tuesday 28 August).
Located in the Eastern New Town area of Ningbo, two hours south of Shanghai, the 415-room hotel is set across two towers – the Pacific Tower and Ocean Tower – offering views of the city and the Yongxin River. It is also adjacent to the Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Centre.
Facilities at the new property include six restaurants, a fitness centre, outdoor tennis court, squash court, indoor swimming pool and a spa. The hotel also includes nine meeting venues, including a 420m² auditorium and a 2,000m² pillarless ballroom.
“The fusion of modern comforts and traditional Oriental charm is what we believe sets Pan Pacific Ningbo apart from other hotels,” said Chris Ong, the hotel’s General Manager. “The beauty of the Ningbonese culture and its distinct elements are weaved into the architecture, food and service at the hotel. Combined with the Pan Pacific’s brand of dedicated service and refreshing hospitality, Pan Pacific Ningbo delivers an unparalleled guest experience that is the best of both worlds – service, tradition and dedication of the east, and the creativity, innovation and personality of the west. Together with our sister hotels, Pan Pacific Suzhou and Pan Pacific Xiamen, we look forward to winning over more fans in China.”
The hotel will soon be joined by the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Ningbo, which will be located in its own tower on the same site as Pan Pacific Ningbo, offering 175 serviced residences for long-stay guests.
