Hyatt Hotels Corporation recently announced the opening of Park Hyatt Zanzibar.
This is the Group’s first property in East Africa and 36th Park Hyatt hotel worldwide. The new property is housed in two buildings – one of them is Mambo Msiige. This is a UNESCO heritage building along with the Zamani Residence which connects to Mambo Msiige.
The hotel features 67 guest rooms, including 11 suites including several dining, recreational and meeting facilities.
There are currently seven Hyatt hotels open throughout Africa, including Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh Resort, Hyatt Regency Taba Heights, Hyatt Regency Casablanca, Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam The Kilamanjaro, Hyatt Regency Johannesburg, Hyatt Regency Oubaai Golf Resort and Spa, and Park Hyatt Zanzibar. There are currently four hotels under development, including Hyatt Regency Arusha, Park Hyatt Marrakech, Hyatt Place Taghazout in Morocco, and Hyatt Dakar in Senegal.
