Park Regis brand to come to UK

StayWell Hospitality Group has announced its expansion into the UK starting with a new Park Regis property in Birmingham.
The Sydney-based company has recently opened a UK sales office and is due to open the Park Regis Birmingham in 2014. Construction has begun on the four-star new-build, which will overlook the Five Ways roundabout and have 272 rooms.
StayWell is also working with partner Seven Capital to find a hotel location in London, as well as Manchester and Edinburgh. Simon Wan, CEO of StayWell said its entry into the UK has been “part of its strategy for some time”.
“This is a massive step forward for StayWell and we are elated to have such a quality accommodation product added to our portfolio,” he added. “Our partners in the UK, Seven Capital, have identified a number of other opportunities in the region which is very exciting for us and we hope to announce further additions to our portfolio very soon”.
