As per recent tourism statistics Russia and CIS countries are among the top ten feeder markets for Dubai. In all Dubai is linked to 10 Russian cities, served by 52 flights a week by eight airlines. According to DTCM, a total of 510,852 RCB guests stayed at Dubai hotels in 2011.
Riding on this growth, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai will participate in the OTDYKH Leisure Moscow 2012 scheduled to take place from September 19th – 22nd, 2012 in Russia. The hotel will be part of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) delegation.
Scott Butcher, general manager, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, said: “OTDYKH Leisure Moscow is a foremost tourism exhibition in Russia. The Russia /CIS/Baltics(RCB) market is considered one of the most promising markets for the emirates as it attracts an extraordinary number of tourists every year. However, it is still a relatively small market for us in terms of volume. Therefore it holds substantial potential for our hotel and we are looking to get a far bigger share of the business.”
