Plaza Premium Group, the independent airport lounge operator, has opened its first ever facilities in Taiwan, located at Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport.
Available to all departing passengers, regardless of ticket class, the two new Plaza Premium lounges span more than 2,500m² and can seat approximately 600 people in Terminals 1 and 2.
Plaza Premium is also sponsoring two “Travellers’ Experience Zones” in both terminals, which allow passengers to experience various lounge facilities.
“Plaza Premium Lounge in Taipei is the first project of our Group in Taiwan,” said Song Hoi-see, founder & CEO of Plaza Premium Group.
“We have invested a lot in Taipei by introducing four cutting-edge Plaza Premium lounges to facilitate travellers departing from, transiting through and arriving at Taipei. We aim at strengthening the affinity of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to travellers and making it a preferred transit hub in East Asia.”
Designed in a “trees and timber” theme, including wooden images of Taiwan island and the Taipei 101 tower, the new lounges offer a range of facilities, such as showers, VIP rooms, meeting rooms, multiple electrical outlets, TVs, free Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines, and F&B from live cooking stations.
The basic lounge package in both terminals starts at TW$1,300 (US$41) for two hours.
