Delays are still on Eurotunnel services as repairs are carried out on overhead power lines.

The Channel Tunnel rail operator had delays of up to six hours yesterday after a train broke down midway through the tunnel in the morning.

More than 300 passengers and four dogs were evacuated from the train before transferred to another French-bound train, according to The Independent.

Eurotunnel said today it expects the repair work to be completed early this afternoon and warned of continued delays throughout today. There is a 90 minute wait on site at Folkestone and a 60 minute wait on site at Calais.

Eurostar services have also been impacted the overhead issue. The rail operator has already cancelled four services between London, Paris and Brussels this morning. Some services are also seeing delays of up to 60 minutes.
