Preferred Hotel Group saw its hotel collection grow in the first quarter of 2012, with the addition of 22 new properties.
The company also experienced higher level of reservations via its distribution channels, including an increase of 24% increase in reservation revenue.
“Preferred had a strong first quarter. We are pleased to see new member growth across all our brands and our continued expansion into key new markets,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, President of Preferred Hotel Group. “Looking ahead, our reservations data is showing signs that summer travel is off to a great start, with June bookings already 20% higher than this time last year.”
In Asia, the Dusit Thani Maldives joined Preferred Boutique while The Toy Hotel in Chandigarh, India, became a member of Sterling Design.
Q1 2012 also saw the launch of a new Preferred brand, Summit Serviced Residences, which includes the 8 on Claymore Serviced Residences in Singapore.
