Priority Pass, the airport lounge membership programme, now provides access to more than 1,000 lounges worldwide.

This milestone follows a year of strong growth for the company, which has seen it add 130 new lounges in the last 12 months. This has included 32 additional airport lounges in the Asia Pacific region, with 11 new joiners in China. Other new lounges have opened in Indonesia, Taiwan, Myanmar and Cambodia, as well as in Australia and New Zealand.

“We are delighted to be able to offer access to over 1,000 lounges in key destinations across the globe,” said Tony T. Low, Collinson Group’s senior vice president & general manager of Asia Pacific lifestyle benefits.

“It is becoming increasingly clear that travellers are less prepared to pay a premium for business class seats, instead preferring to enhance their travel with benefits such as lounge access, concierge services and exclusive experiences at their destinations.”

Priority Pass offers lounge access regardless of airline or cabin class. Travellers just need to show their membership card or use the Priority Pass app to access the lounges.
