Puducherry will roll out a tourism master plan in the next three months. The plan will draft the strategy for tourism promotion of the Union Territory in the next 10 years.

“The state government will conserve the culture and heritage of Puducherry as well as give priority to infrastructure development,” P Rajavelu, Welfare and Tourism Minister for Puducherry said in an address to the South India Hotels and Restaurants Association, reported by the Press Trust of India (PTI).

The destination has been attracting one lakh tourists every month.
