Preferred Hotel Group has seen an 11% increase in room nights sold in Europe in its third quarter results year-on-year.
The hotel collection has also seen a 15% rise in reservations revenue and 4% increase in average daily rates in Europe.
In addition the group has added 13 new hotels to its collection including those in Turkey, Spain, France and Italy.
“It is a very exciting time for Preferred Hotel Group in Europe, and I am pleased with the strong results we have been able to produce for our member hotels in the region,” said Susan Devine, executive vice president of Europe for Preferred Hotel Group. “The enhancement of our member portfolio in particular provides great momentum as we head into the final months of 2013, with to-date bookings for our hotels in Europe for the months of November and December already 25% and 18% higher, respectively, than this time last year.”
The group has attributed its growth to a larger European sales team and its contracts with hotel partners, as well as its iPrefer points loyalty programme for guests.
