Qantas and Tourism Western Australia have launched a new marketing campaign promoting services to Perth and the Qantas Walkabout Pass.

Destinations to be focused in the campaign include Exmouth and Broome with an agent roadshow to take place in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow next June.

Fam trips and tour operator marketing will also take place as part of an AU$7.56 million three-year deal between the two.

“As Australia’s national carrier, Qantas is the natural choice for visitors travelling to Australia. We’re delighted to work with Tourism Western Australia to drive visitors to this stunning region. With the Qantas Walkabout Pass our passengers can customise their trip and take advantage of extremely competitive fares,” said Eric Jelinek, regional general manager, Qantas UK & Ireland.

Christie Lord, UK regional manager at Tourism Western Australia added: “Encouraging the 136,000 Brits who visit Western Australia each year to explore more of the state is a key objective for us.”
