Qatar Airways is increasing its operations to Jakarta with the addition of four new weekly flights.
The airline currently operates twice daily services to the Indonesian capital, but from 4 June 2014 this will rise to 18 flights per week.
The route is operated using a combination of Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft, so the additional flights will offer 2,080 extra weekly seats – 192 in business class and 1,888 in economy.
“The demand for flights to Jakarta has risen tremendously over the years. As a result, the number of customers that have chosen to fly with us has also increased,” said Qatar Airways’ CEO, Akbar Al Baker
“In order to meet that demand, we are increasing the number of flights per week, in line with our commitment to offering our passengers our five-star service and an enhanced travel experience.”
Qatar Airways launched its Jakarta service in 2001.
