Qatar Airways and Royal Air Maroc have further strengthened their recent business partnership with launch of new code-share routes.
This is across the Royal Air Maroc’s extensive West African network, as well as on both airlines’ routes between Qatar and Morocco from 20 August 2015. The new code-share agreement comes after Qatar Airways group chief executive, HE Akbar Al Baker and Royal Air Maroc chairman and CEO, Driss Benhima signed a joint business agreement.
The joint business agreement benefits passengers by providing links between Qatar and Morocco.
Al Baker explained: “Launch of this code-share agreement with Royal Air Maroc will allow seemless connectivity onwards to almost 20 destinations across the West African region.”
Within Morocco, passengers will also be able to travel onwards to the domestic cities of; Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, Guelmime, Tan Tan, Tetouan, Al Hoceima, Fes, Errachidia, Oujda, Nador, Ouarzazate, Zagora, Laayounte, Dakhla and Beni Mellal.
Royal Air Maroc will start operating three weekly flights with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Doha on 99 September 2015. Both airlines will code share on each other’s operations.
