Qatar Airways to fly to Phnom Penh
Qatar Airways has announced plans to launch daily flights to the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh.
The Doha-based airline will become the only Middle Eastern carrier to operate into Cambodia when services commence on 20 February 2013. All flights will operate via Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

The new Doha–HCMC–Phnom Penh route will be operated using a two-class, 284-seat Airbus A330 aircraft. Flight times will be split, with services departing Doha at 0115 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, arriving in Phnom Penh at 1415. The return flight on these days will depart the Cambodian capital at 1650.
Then on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, flights leave Doha at 0730 and arrive at Phnom Penh at 2030. The return leg will take-off from Phnom Penh at 2250.
Phnom Penh will become Qatar Airways’ 11th destination in Southeast Asia, following Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Bali, HCMC, Jakarta, Hanoi, Singapore, Manila, Phuket and Yangon.
