Doha’s Aiana Hotels & Resorts recently unveiled the design and architectural elements of the ‘Aiana Suites and Residences’. The new property will offer 180 keys.
Celebrating AIANA’s first year anniversary, Sheikh Turki bin Faissal Al Thani, chairman of Al Sawari Holding, Amruda Nair, joint managing director and chief executive officer, Aiana Hotels & Resorts LLC and Mohammad Shafiek, managing director of Al Sawari Holding also announced Aiana’s plans to open a 611 room hotel in Makkah. The new property is scheduled to open in Q3 2016, Aiana Makkah will now be the first Aiana property to welcome guests.
Sheikh Turki bin Faissal Al Thani said: “With seven properties launched across the Indian sub-continent and Middle East within a short span of less than a year, our vision is fast taking shape. I am confident that with launch of our hotels in Makkah and Doha in 2016, guests will enjoy our unique ‘Hospitality 2.0′ promise.”
Aiana Makkah, will be Aiana Hotels and Resorts’ first hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The hotel will offer views of the Hajj ritual site (the Jamarat).
With the recent announcement, Aiana Hotels & Resorts has now added seven properties to its fast growing portfolio. Besides the AIANA Suites and Residences, Doha and recently announced Aiana Makkah, Aiana has entered into an agreement with India’s Moonriver Resorts to open Aiana Munnar in Kerala.
