Quark Expeditions will soon announce a third addition to its Antarctic vessels after releasing its 2015/16 itineraries for the region.
The third ship announcement will be revealed ‘shortly’ to join Ocean Diamond and Sea Adventurer offering cruises in the region.
The itineraries offered are similar to previous seasons as well as fly/cruise options to the Falklands and South Georgia for the first time.
This will enable more people with less time to join its Antarctic expeditions such as the 21-day Epic Antarctica and 11 or 12-day Antarctic Explorer options.
“We’re pleased to offer the Falklands and South Georgia via Fly-Cruise for those who are short on time, but want the complete Antarctic and southern ocean experience,” said Hans Lagerweij, president of Quark Expeditions. “It’s an option that’s growing in popularity, as more and more people discover just how accessible the Antarctic has become.”
Sea Adventurer has been through a refurbishment with new cabin and public area interiors including carpets and linens.
