Radisson Blu is launching a new range of guest amenities at its hotels in India.
The new amenity line, called ‘In Transit’, is being rolled out across the upscale brand’s 24 Indian properties from April 2014, as well as at the brand’s other hotels around the world.
The new range of products includes a shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, as well as shower cap and vanity kits. Radisson Blu will also provide additional products like bath salts and hand cream in certain hotels. The line was created for Radisson Blu by ‘This Works’, a natural product line developed by health and beauty expert Kathy Phillips. All amenities will be free of chemicals and packaged with recyclable materials.
“Radisson Blu continually strives to provide its guests with an upscale international hotel experience, and guest amenities are an important part of it. This Works was a natural fit. The incredibly bold vision of Kathy Phillips is now brought to our guests at our more than 270 Radisson Blu hotels around the world,” said Rose Kutzli, Radisson Blu’s vice president of branding.
“This Works’ vision is to deliver iconic solutions for modern beauty needs, drawing upon nature’s laboratory – responsibly. Our guests will be rewarded with this beautiful promise as they indulge at any Radisson Blu hotel or resort.”
Lucinda Semark, Carlson Rezidor’s executive vice president of revenue generation for Asia Pacific, added that the products would be well suited to the Asian market.
“This Works products will be well received by guests in Asia as they are always seeking natural remedies and organic care products to enhance their well being and they will be available in all Radisson Blu hotels in Asia Pacific from Shanghai and Delhi to Phuket and Fiji,” Ms Semark said.
Carlson Rezidor currently operates Radisson Blu properties in multiple Indian cities, including New Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Nagpur, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Gurgaon.
