Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has unveiled plans to make its debut in Kyrgyzstan.
The company has signed a management deal for a brand new Radisson Blu hotel, which will rise in the centre of the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.
Scheduled to open in 2019, the Radisson Blu Hotel Bishkek will comprise 181 rooms, several F&B outlets, spa facilities and 1,200m² of conference and banqueting space.
“The signing of the Radisson Blu hotel Bishkek is in line with our strategy to grow in emerging markets and expand our network in business and leisure capitals,” explained Elie Younes, Rezidor’s executive vice president & chief development officer of Rezidor.
The new Radisson Blu will become one of few internationally-branded hotels in Kyrgyzstan; at present Louvre Hotels and Hyatt both operate properties in Bishkek. Carlson Rezidor also operates a Radisson Blu hotel in Astana, the capital of neighbouring Kazakhstan.
