In celebration of its 125th anniversary, Raffles Hotel Singapore has created a new version of its famous cocktail, the Singapore Sling.
Named the ‘1887’, the new cocktail includes the hotel’s limited-edition Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve Champagne, along with the standard gin, Cointreau and orange, lemon and lime.
The Singapore Sling was invented in 1915 by bartender Ngiam Tong Boon at Raffles Hotel, and is now a regular fixture at the hotel’s Long Bar.
