Royal Jordanian Airlines will commence direct services to Algiers effective 25 February 2013.
The new service will be two weekly flights between Amman and Algiers, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
RJ President/CEO Amer Hadidi said as of 1 April 2013, the airline will add a third flight on Thursdays. “The route is to serve different categories of passengers such as business travellers, especially those working in the pharmaceutical industries,” he added.
The Algiers route will also see active traffic to the Kingdom from medical tourists. He further mentioned that the Amman-Algiers service will open investment opportunities to Algerian businessmen in the Jordanian market, in addition to boosting existing relations between the two countries.
