Rotana has opened its new property in Bahrain – Downtown Rotana. The hotel was inaugurated by HE Zayed R Al Zayani, Bahrain’s minister of industry, commerce and tourism.
The 26-storey property is the third in the Rotana Group’s Bahrain-based portfolio and 42nd in GCC. The property offers 249 rooms with a host of facilities catering to growing needs of business and leisure travellers alike.
Nasser Al Nowais, chairman of Rotana Hotel Management Corporation, said: “Downtown Rotana is our third presence in the country; we look forward to further strengthening our presence in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and are constantly striving to develop the local tourism sector.”
With the opening of this new upscale hotel, the company’s inventory in the Kingdom has increased to more than 680 rooms.
