Royal Caribbean announces winter 2013-14 Caribbean

Royal Caribbean International has announced its winter 2013-14 Caribbean cruises which will see six of its ships plying the Caribbean on 140 cruises, 31 distinct itineraries and 20 different ports of call. Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas , Navigator of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas will be sailing itineraries in the Caribbean during the season, which will see the former two operate seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean round-trips from Port Everglades. The ships will call at Nassau, St.Thomas and St.Maarten in the Eastern Caribbean, and at Falmouth, Jamaica; Cozumel, Mexico and the lines private beach island, Labadee in Haiti on the western Caribbean.
Independence of the Seas will also homeport at Port Everglades and alternate six-night Western Caribbean and eight –night Eastern Caribbean cruises, including calls to Georgetown, Falmouth, St Kitts and Puerto Rico.
Meanwhile, Freedom of the Seas will continue its year- round service from Port Canaveral with alternate seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises. Navigator of the Seas will homeport at Galveston and offer two seven –night itineraries, while Serenade of the Seas will offer new Caribbean itineraries from New Orleans. The first sailing will be a one-time, nine-night Caribbean Adventure, departing this December, calling at Key West, Florida; Nassau; Labadee and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The Serenade will then alternate new Bahamas and Western Caribbean itineraries, both seven night durations. On the Western Caribbean itinerary, guest call at Falmouth, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, while the Bahamas itinerary calls at Key West, Nassau and Cococay.
“The Caribbean is our namesake, and no one can deliver the region like Royal Caribbean,” said Betsy O’Rourke, senior vice president of marketing at RCI.
