Royal Caribbean has celebrated the 10th anniversary of its operations in Asia.
A major celebration was held at Singapore’s Clifford Pier on 7 July, which brought together more than 150 members of the travel trade and media, as well as corporate and government partners.
Guests were treated to visual displays and videos highlighting the company’s 10 years in Asia, from the arrival of its first ship, Rhapsody of the Seas, in 2007, to the most recent debut of Asia’s largest vessel, Ovation of the Seas, in Singapore earlier this year.
“The last 10 years have seen Royal Caribbean flourish tremendously, having expanded our regional footprint from just one office in Singapore to six across Asia Pacific, and from one to three ships for our fleet in Singapore today,” said Royal Caribbean’s managing director for Asia Pacific, Sean Treacy.
“We are committed to continue bringing innovative and quality ships and growing Royal Caribbean as the top vacation choice for travellers in the region.”
Royal Caribbean also used the occasion to launch its new TV commercial, entitled ‘Where Everyone Gets What They Need’, and showcased its new virtual reality sales tools.
