Royal Caribbean, Azamara Club Cruises and Celebrity Cruises are to become three separate brands in the UK.
The companies have reportedly all grown to a size where they don’t need to come under the same management system and will be split on 1 January 2014.
The move will mean a change in corporate structure and the consolidation of national call centres – with the UK and Ireland’s Addlestone branch set for closure. One hundred people are set to become redundant.
The company will now operate out of three multi-lingual call centres including Guatemala, Netherlands and Romania with Xerox, a third party partner.
Cruise News commentator Jo Rzymowska is set to become the managing director of Celebrity Cruises and two executives will be found for Royal Caribbean and Azamara Club Cruises respectively.
The managing directors will have separate management teams below them and report to Dominic Paul the vice president and managing director of Europe.
