Sabre creates mobile link between hotels and guests

Sabre has integrated its mobile travel app, TripCase, with its central reservations system (CRS), SynXis, enabling hoteliers to communicate directly with guests via their mobile devices.
Following the integration, hotel reservations made through the Sabre GDS and the SynXis CRS will automatically flow into the TripCase messaging channel. This will allow hoteliers to message the guests before, during and after their stay.
“The integration of TripCase with SynXis… empowers hoteliers to efficiently target and reach travellers with timely and personalised messages,” said Florian Tinnus, vice president of Sabre Traveller Experience.
“TripCase is uniquely positioned to help hoteliers reach travellers because of the millions of users who trust our award-winning travel app to provide them with relevant and critical information about their trips. It’s really a win for everyone.”
According to Sabre, hoteliers can use the connection to send a variety of messages to guests, such as “unique offers, upgrades and offers for hotel amenities including as spas and restaurants”. This, the company states, could in turn drive greater brand loyalty and extra revenue.
