Sabre has developed eight new language versions of its mobile travel itinerary app, TripCase.

The app was initially launched in English, but the company will now be able to offer the mobile service to travellers in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Using the app, travellers are able to manage their entire itinerary from their mobile device, including schedule change alerts and the ability to connect with their travel companies.

“Travellers are setting standards across the globe when it comes to leveraging the latest mobile services. Not only do travellers have the highest rates of smartphone adoption, they’re also doing more with their devices like booking, payments and check-ins,” said Clinton Anderson, Sabre Travel Network’s senior vice president of traveller experience.

“So their expectations for intelligent, personal experiences via mobile are high and continue to rise. Travellers are setting the bar for mobile services and will drive new innovations in the travel industry and beyond.”

Sabre expects that TripCase will manage more than 40 million trips for travellers this year.
