India’s Sarovar Hotels is targeting the large corporate and MICE sectors in Bengaluru – India’s Silicon Valley – with the opening on a new hotel.
The RBD Sarovar Portico is a new upscale property located close to the city’s main IT hub. It offers 86 rooms and suites plus extensive facilities for the MICE market, including a rooftop banqueting hall, boardrooms and a pre-function area. There is also a restaurant.
“RBD Sarovar Portico being close to the major tech parks of the city is ideal for business travellers,” said Ajay K. Bakaya, executive director of Sarovar Hotels. “With Bengaluru emerging as one of our key markets, we look forward to further growth and increased traffic contribution from our hotels here.
“We will continue to focus on our expansion and also strengthen our position as we look to spread farther across South India,” he added.
The new hotel becomes Sarovar’s fourth property in Bengaluru.
