The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has recently certified Sharaf Aviation Services Academy (SASA) in the UAE as an accredited institution. The accreditation allows SASA to offer courses in Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) category 1, 3, 6 and 9.
These courses are designed in conjunction with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in order to acquire a General Civil Aviation Authority authorized DGR certification.
The focus of the course is to educate and increase awareness on the legal requirements, operational restrictions, packaging instructions, marking, labeling and documentation of regulations related to the transport of Dangerous Goods. The course caters for those involved in any aviation operation, relating to transport of DGR.
“The Sharaf Aviation Services Academy course is interactive and cost-effective for individuals and organizations to reach their safety objectives. The course also provides in-depth training on use and understanding of Dangerous Goods Regulations,” said Rajagopalan, training manager – Sharaf Aviation Services Academy.
