Scoot will launch its first flights to Taipei tomorrow (Tuesday 18 September).

The Singapore-based low-cost carrier will initially offer three weekly Boeing 777 flights on the route, rising to daily from 29 October. Flights will depart Changi airport at 0105 and arrive at Taipei’s Taoyuan airport at 0540. The return service leaves Taiwan at 1810, getting back into Singapore at 2225.

“We’re excited to launch our Singapore-Taipei route and, judging from the tens of thousands of folk who’ve already booked to fly, we’re not the only ones! We’ve been blown away by the response to this new route,” said Campbell Wilson, Scoot’s CEO.

Taipei becomes Scoot’s fifth destination, following Sydney, Gold Coast, Bangkok and Tianjin.
