Seabourn is aiming to generate more travel trade bookings by forming a new partnership with Sabre.
Travel agents using the Sabre GDS will now have the ability to book the luxury cruise line’s full inventory via Sabre Cruises, a new booking capability within Sabre Red Workspace, the agency desktop system. This allows agents to browse Seabourn’s ships and amenities, and search for and book its itineraries.
“We are proud to join the Sabre travel marketplace to provide our global travel professional partners with an additional valuable resource to access and book our… cruises,” said Chris Austin, Seabourn’s senior vice president of global marketing & sales. “We value the travel agency community, who have a breadth of knowledge and expertise, and this collaboration will help them grow their business and sales.”
Traci Mercer, Sabre Travel Network’s senior vice president of Lodging, Ground & Sea, commented; “The Sabre agency platform and Cruise API will significantly increase the exposure of Seabourn collection of cruises, ships, personalised services and fine amenities among an influential community of travel agents.”
The service will initially be available to the travel trade in North America.
