Seabourn has revealed that its two new cruise ships will be named Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation.
Set to launch in late 2016 and early 2018 respectively, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation will join the company’s Odyssey-class of vessel, which already includes the Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest.
But the new ships will be configured with one additional deck, boosting their capacity to 604 passengers, based on a double occupancy.
“Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation will applaud the current fleet in both vessel design and guest experience,” Seabourn’s president, Richard Meadows. “Both words, encore and ovation, pay tribute to the tremendous success and outstanding accomplishments our current ships have achieved. They are perfect names to celebrate Seabourn’s expanding fleet.”
All suites on the new ships feature private verandas, while facilities will include multiple dining venues, a spa, casino, lounges and outdoor deck areas.
Seabourn said the new ships will sail to “marquee cities, UNESCO World Heritage sites and lesser-known ports and hideaways”.
