AHS said the new hotel would feature an “industrial modern” design “with a twist of Lanna (northern Thai) influences throughout its interiors”.

Facilities include a restaurant with terrace bar, library, swimming pool, gym and a spa with five treatment rooms. For MICE sector, the hotel will offer 720m² meeting space and a 300m² function lawn.

The hotel will also feature U Hotels’ standard features, including 24 room rental from the time of check-in, breakfast served “anytime, anywhere” and free Wi-Fi.

“We are very excited to add another U hotel in Chiang Mai in such location as Nimman which is quickly become the social hub of Chiang Mai,” said Jonathan Wigley, CEO of AHS.

AHS already operates one U Hotel in the centre of Chiang Mai.
