The Sedona Hotel Yangon has more than doubled its inventory with the launch of its new Inya Wing.
The 29-storey tower soft-opened this week in a ceremony attended by U Htay Aung, Myanmar’s Minister of Hotels & Tourism.
The new Inya Wing brings an additional 431 rooms and suites to the hotel, taking the total inventory to almost 800 keys. The wing also features a new lobby area and is linked to the existing hotel block via a new space that includes a retail arcade and restaurant.
The hotel has also added a new fitness club that will provide modern exercise equipment and a range of classes, including step aerobics and yoga.
“As Myanmar’s growth progresses on track, we are heartened that leading international developers like Keppel Land are expanding and upgrading their hospitality developments to meet the growing needs of tourists,” said the minister. “I am confident that the new office tower in the Junction City development will be another significant landmark in Downtown Yangon.”
Spread across 3.2 hectares of land, Sedona Hotel Yangon previously offered 366 rooms and suites.
