In an effort to enhance its global MICE offerings, the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts have launched a new ‘Experience It’ programme. The programme features engaging activities tied to hotels’ corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.

“Today meeting organisers frequently ask for innovative alternative offerings. To cater to this demand, we’ve created a menu of themed breaks, team-building exercises and activities that will spark creativity and engagement,” said Mandy Chan, Shangri-La’s director of corporate events management.

Some of the initiatives listed include planting coral cones in a marine sanctuary, painting a school and engaging with local farmers on an eco-tour among others. The program has been designed across three categories – people and the planet, Green and Be Well.
